WILD FLOWER BREAD COMPANY

I am having a coffee and nine grain roll at this St. Louis Bread Company look alike here in Mesa, AZ and am really enjoying it. It is, I must say, a step up in offerings from our own breadco.

They offer full breakfasts including egg dishes, unfortunately not free-range eggs however, pancakes, stuffed french toast and more.

Lunch has offerings like Roasted Sweet Potato Sandwich (try that in St. Louis) and a hot Portabello Picnic Sandwich. There are salads of all discriptions, including a Salmon Caesar.

There is good coffee, special menus for the kids and an entire menu for dinner...like Butternut Squash Ravioli, Spinach & Artichoke Lasagna and Portobello, Fresh Mozzarella & Basil offerings for vegetarians and others I did not mention.

Good place to sit and get online to check email, do research or like me, write in your blog.

Later.

FOOD FOR THE SOUL

What, indeed, is it that keeps our souls nourished (whatever you think that a soul is)?
Is it love, accomplishments, being useful and helpful to others, caring for nature...maybe its doing random acts of kindness to complete strangers.
At this age, I am deciding that the nourishment for the soul is at least as important as nourishing the body...maybe more, who knows?

FINALLY I SPEAK

Well, I have not been doing my little blog for quite some time now...I have made several changes in my life and just lived them instead of talking about them.
The food thing is, of course, an ongoing interest...wonderful vegetarian food still turns me on...the fresher, more organic and more locally grown, the better.
This is really a test to see if this blog posting will be published...here goes.
